While I've more or less abandoned this blog to move to Buttersquash Ranch on AffordableHost, I note as of today that the Scientology ads I mentioned earlier appear to be gone, at least as of the moment.

If you're reading this, you should know that while this site currently still exists, the content here (and future content) will probably be hosted at buttersquash.net, the new domain I got because free or not, Scientology ads at the top of my blog are completely intolerable. For that matter, coughing up money to make them go away is also completely intolerable. This blog will be more at home on AffordableHost, the happy home of such sites as Slatkinfraud.com and Kady O'Malley's wwwaif.net.

Within 24 hours of my starting this blog, I noticed that the ad I have is invariably for the malevolent cult of Scientology which is criticized so much. Other blogs that mention Scientology do not appear to receive this attention. As soon as I figure this out, I intend to submit a report on this odd behavior to ScientologyWatch, a site which is currently by default the premier blog about Scientology. Other bloggers have already had nasty run-ins with this cult. I am having difficulty finding an analogy for having an ad for a cult at the top of a site criticizing that same cult, but most violate Godwin's Law.

Just to have some content of any kind whatsoever, I include this link to an interesting post by Martin Ottmann concerning the possible identity of ars hoaxer "Ralph Dorian."

The only news is that this blog has been created today.
